Challenge: To develop an extension or micro website for the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Hospital that doubled as a site for Ontario’s Central Regional Cancer Program.
Implementing a Solution: Worked with the Stronach Centre’s Director, the communications team and its Patient and Caregiver Advisory Board to develop and implement a content strategy for the site.
The website was designed to portray the centre’s key values (compassion, excellent care, innovative research), answer patients’ key questions and explain what to expect. It also aims to boost the centre’s credibility by reinforcing its partnerships with leading hospitals, such as SickKids Hospital, and positive patient sentiment via quotes throughout the site. The Central Regional Cancer Program was profiled in a distinct menu but also linked throughout the site.
